To further promote electric car sales, the RTA has announced at Gitex 2017 that they will waive all registration, charging and parking rates for all electric car users. The RTA has also announced that they are adding over 400 electric cars into their taxi and private car hire fleets.
The benefits of an electric car are the zero petrol costs and low running costs for the cars as there are no moving parts which need service or maintenance and their famous autonomous driving features.
